1952-53 Form 4B
Photo supplied by Alan Parker, 1949 pupil, and extra names by Alan Lawrence, 1949 pupil, and Richard Worden, 1949 4A pupil. Other possible names suggested were Pam Stevens, John Stone and Neil Marsh. Judith Birch was a great friend of Brenda Cornish.
Also a comment by David Eason, not an old scholar, who comments that the boy Stokes in the back row is the Alf Stokes, the well known Spurs player. However, there were previous claims like this about an Alan Stokes who was a prominent 1st X1 soccer player and athlete, and who featured a lot in some mid 50s photos, so this comment is probably wrong. I remember Alf Stokes in a few matches at Spurs and he was more of a ginger thinning haired player, whereas this possible Alan Stokes had much thicker wavy blond hair. Please comment if you know more.
