Notes. Doris was 91 when she donated this photo. She was still driving and tried a computer class but reverted to her portable typewriter. The tunics worn by the girls had to touch the floor when kneeling down, and were always worn with black stockings, and the blouses were cream Shantung. A 1961 prefect revealed he was put on gate duty to check girls' dresses were not too short!

It was the Over 16s race. Doris Anderson won.
