1955 Football Form 2 Team Players
Two photos together supplied by Ken Hogan, who is featured as our goalkeeper in one photo in this set of two, and they will be shown separately later in 2019 or early 2020. The date is probably 1955 when these were regular school team players in the 2nd Year.
The other photo shows Derek Aldersley trying to score against Ken, who called himself the "The Cat" or similar. The outcome of this penalty is not remembered, but Peter Turner is watching Derek intensely to see if he can match Derek's technique.
This may have helped Peter scoring a not so good penalty years later, when Trinity drew 1-1 in a match with Arnos School in 1958, an away match. Dave Holland commented immediately that it was not really a good penalty, and it was just force that beat the goalkeeper.

Quickly became Elaine Delmar singing professionally in USA and UK. Particularly on BBC in Friday Night is Music Night. Still performing professionally. Richard and Judy Simmonds last saw her in Chelmsford in a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald with BBC Concert Orchestra in 2019 before Lockdown.
