1947 Form 6A

Photo scanned from the school history compiled by Don Grammer in 1999: Trinity: A School with a Past

1948-49 6th Form Chemistry - H2S Day in the Chemistry Lab.

There is no note of who supplied the photo and names, but Alan Lindfield is also listed in a contemporary photo, 1947 5th Form Troublemakers, so perhaps it could be him?

This shows a back view of Alan Lindfield in the left foreground, with Bill Liddington in the left background of the room, and Raymond Lacey in the right foreground. Three more names need identification!

1948-49 Boys Athletics Team

There is no note of who supplied this photo, but there are plenty of messages suggesting new names to list, so the lists may lengthen.

BACK ROW John Taylor, John Edwards, T.C. Clifford, ?, David Ring, ?, Rob Millen, ?, Bob Wilson.

CENTRE ROW Whalley, ?, Clive Carroll, ?, Peter Seager, Jeff Geoffroy, John Jenkins, Ken Wright, ?, Len Ince, Peter Selway.

FRONT ROW Robert Sharp, Roy Augood, Tony Neville, Eric Coster, Ken Morris, Mr Mackey, Ron Pritchard, Stewart / Stuart Wells, Derek Hale.

NOTES. Several pupils sent in names, including John Glyn, 1946, John Brown, 1943, Peter Tomlin, 1944, Derek Bowden, 1947, and others on too dark a background to read.

1948 Unidentified Form Mr Dean

This photo is one of four of Mr Dean's class photos which were difficult to date. One was 1943, one 1950 and one 1955. 1948 is the suggested date of this by comparing the ages of the same pupils appearing in similar photos. So the date is subject to confirmation.

The boys on the far right may be those identified in the 1950 5 Arts photo as Roger Thurgood and John Capel. A girl next to Mr Dean seems to be in the 1950 photo, Yvette Autret.

1948 Old Boys Hockey Club1

The first of three photos in front of the sports pavilion in 1948-49. The captions here are too small to read easily, but a selection of names will be listed under the next two photos, left and right sections. More here may be added later.

Dr E. E. Jones appears again on this side of the photo in the middle row.
